About

Crochet Simplified

Crochet made clear, one step at a time. Every pattern here is free, written out on the page and ready to print.

The story

Every piece begins with one thread. Our granny square mark follows one continuous line from its blue starting ring, stitch by stitch, and that is how we want every pattern to feel: one clear step after another.

Crochet Simplified shares free crochet patterns for baby clothes, baby booties and shoes, amigurumi animals and keychains, a women's cardigan and a stitch guide for beginners.

How our patterns work

Every pattern is written out in full on its page: materials, sizes, gauge, abbreviations and every round or row, with step photos where they help. Download the free PDF if you like to work from paper or keep the pattern on your phone.

We use US crochet terms. The number in brackets at the end of a round is your stitch count, so you can check your work as you go.

The homepage designs

The seven designs on our homepage tell our brand story. They are illustrations, not patterns in the catalogue.

Free to use, free to make

All our patterns are free, with no account and nothing to buy. You are welcome to sell what you make from them, and a credit to Crochet Simplified is always appreciated.
